The Company
George Edmund Lodge founded The Lodge Tyre Company Limited in August 1935, mainly selling car tyres and accessories. Since then the company has grown immensely and now handles all major tyre applications and vehicle maintenance work. To this day it remains a family concern offering the same high levels of personal service.
From our depots we can supply tyres to all applications be it car, van, commercial or plant. We operate a fleet of over one hundred fully equipped breakdown vans which offer mobile fleet support, 24 hour breakdown assistance and commercial wheel alignment facilities.
Most depots are primarily aimed at commercial accounts, however all
depots do sell car/van tyres and car/van related services such as exhaust,
battery and brake changes. Indeed at our Birmingham, Talke (near Stoke),
Walsall and Northampton sites there are dedicated service - centres
offering MOTs and mechanical work.
We are also a key supplier to lease car drivers through our membership of Fit4Fleet and National Fleet. This enables us to service vehicles belonging to most leasing companies.
We also have our own range of bead to bead commercial retreads which have set us apart from other commercial dealers. Quality of production is to the highest standard and we ensure that all products meet our stringent quality standards through using the latest ultrasound and laser technology.
Because Lodge Tyres is independent we can offer any make of tyre to our customers at competitive prices. We are active members of the Independent Tyre Distributors Network (ITDN), National Tyre Distributors Association (NTDA), Bridgestone Truck Point Network, Conti 360 and Vaculug VFM. This ensures we can service fleets anywhere in the UK and on the Continent.
